Programs
At Grey Nurse Guardians we have a number of programs available, each catering for different ages and audiences. Our school programs offer an intriguing, curriculum-based option for teachers. Alternatively, we’re more than happy to design a program covering a specific area you’d prefer. Wherever possible, we take kids into the environment they’re learning about. This may come in the form of a guided field trip to the beach, a local creek, or even just the school playground. Unfortunately, we can’t take kids diving, which is where our touch tank comes in!
1/2 Hour Complimentary Taster Available. If you're a school teacher interested in any of our primary or secondary programs and would like to find out more, we can come and visit your school, have a chat, and spend a few minutes showing your students part of our collection!
NB. Prices quoted on our website are subject to change, and additional costs such as travelling expenses may be incurred.
Secondary School Programs
We have a number of programs designed for high school students. Most of these align with our "Real Marine Research" goal of allowing students to be involved in collecting, collating and analysing data to be used in real marine research projects.
Primary School Programs
GNG has a range of programs available for Primary aged students (all curriculum based), including incursions and excursions.
GNG Juniors Programs
GNG Juniors – A great option for Preschools and Playgroups, where our GNG Marine Biologist/Mermaid/SCUBA Diver brings along an array of creepy-crawlies for the kids to touch and hold.
