Grey Nurse Guardians Services

Grey Nurse Guardians offer a number of services to various organisations. Please contact us if you would like further details or costs on any of the services below.

Local Government & Community Education – The unique backgrounds and experience of our staff as both Marine Scientists and Educators enable us to easily convey complex environmental problems to the general public. This has proven effective in our work with Councils to develop successful, locally-relevant marine and coastal community education programs. We have had great success in supplementing community education programs with school programs.

Community Interpretation & Events – Our exciting displays and Touch Tank are a great attraction at community events. We are also happy to provide interpretive guides for coastal/intertidal walks.

Non-Government Organisations – Grey Nurse Guardians works with a number of NGOs on various projects. We are available to consult with these groups on marine education and conservation programs.

School Environment Management Plan – As an environmental education company, we have staff trained specifically in the area of environmental education in schools. In addition to the regular programs we run, we are available to consult with schools on implementing the mandatory Environmental Education Policy for Schools (NSW) and achieving the objectives of its School Environment Management Plan (SEMP).
